Frazer's smooth voice and unique touch on the piano are particularly suitable for restaurants and wine bars. His constantly-evolving songs from past and present suitable for background music which create a relaxing atmosphere for dining and conversation. He was described in NZ as the perfect "musical canapé".

Since December 2004, he has had a residency every Monday night at the Casablanca Brassarie Paddington and more recently Gambaros restaurant. In 2005, he played jazz brunch every Thursday at Hilton Hotel and then Joseph Alexanders Bar in Toowong every Saturday . 

 Sometimes, interaction with the customers is an important part of the performance with some light-hearted banter and a series of requests. On other more formal occasions, one song blends seamlessly into another and customers can happily engage in conversation with the music remaining unintrusive in the background. Recognising the requirements of each venue has been key to Frazer's continued success.
